The Mahar Regional High School Key Club received the following awards at the New England and Bermuda District Key Club Conference held recently in Springfield: an early bird dues patch; third place for its Major Emphasis Project (the Halloween activity); third place for its Single Service report (the Thanksgiving Can Drive); second place for a promotional video made by Jeanne Grutchfield; first place for its scrapbook; first place for its Annual Achievement Report (a summary of the club’s service projects); and the Distinguished Club Diamond Level Award for the club’s 205 service projects and 4,847 hours of service this year.

In addition, Jeanne Grutchfield received the Timothy Daly scholarship for graduating seniors who have shown outstanding service, leadership qualities, and achievements as a Key Club member. Jazmyn Vautour received the Outstanding Key Club Officer Award in the New England and Bermuda District for her performance as president. Hannah Dupont has been elected as lieutenant governor of division 22.
